Proud partner of KANPE
KANPE is proud to announce that the BMO Financial Group is joining its effort to assist in the development of Haiti’s most vulnerable families and communities. In this scope BMO will donate $250,000 to KANPE over a five year period.
Mr. L. Jacques Ménard, the president of the BMO Financial Group’s Québec office and member of KANPE’s Board of Governors, made the announcement yesterday at the cocktail reception launching Dr. Paul Farmer’s book. In a moving speech, Mr. Ménard spoke of the necessity for stronger mobilization in Québec, in Canada, and in the world to support the Haitian people’s efforts to rebuild. For Mr. Ménard, the need to show fraternity and solidarity is imperative in the face of this sizable challenge
KANPE will now be able to count on this support, which constitutes a significant contribution to lasting economic development for Haiti’s most vulnerable families and communities.
KANPE sincerely thanks Mr. L. Jacques Ménard and the BMO Financial Group for their involvement in the Haitian people’s cause.
