KANPE, deeply touched and grateful for the recognition bestowed upon it by the members of the National Assembly

On Tuesday March 15th, a motion was put forward by members of the
National Assembly in Quebec city to honor the efforts of the KANPE
foundation in assisting Haiti. There to receive the honor was a
delegation from the KANPE foundation led by KANPE’s president, Dominique
Anglade and grand ambassador Régine Chassagne.
Following the motion being passed, an official ceremony
was held at the offices of the president of the National Assembly in the
presence of Pauline Marois, head of the opposition; the parliamentary
attaché to the minister of finance and deputy from Viau, Emmanuel
Dubourg, and Gerard Deltell, deputy of Chauveau and head of the second
party of the opposition.
The motion stipulates : « that the National Assembly
salutes KANPE, and salutes the altruism and passion exhibited by the
members of the foundation with the goal of creating a new and integrated
program to support Haitians in their quest for a better future ».
