“Most of the health care services provided in Haiti are not provided by the government and are consequently not rendered without charge.”

KANPE for health

It is well known that disease plays an integral part in the cycle of poverty.

It has been proven that by simply imposing health care fees—no matter how small—in the rural regions of Haiti results in a radical decline in the rate of clinic patronage, which leads to disastrous repercussions. Keeping a population healthy depends on regular screening for symptoms of diseases.

KANPE teams up with Partners in Health to eliminate the financial barriers to health care in the most destitute communities and to participate in the overall development of the population served.

KANPE contributes to the quality of health services by providing experts such as doctors, nurses, and medical support staff where they are needed the most.

KANPE also provides medication when needed.
